HOSTS Tutor/Mentor Program

This is a cool opportunity to really make a difference in the community. HSA is teaming up with Zavala and Metz elementaries this semester with HOSTS. HOSTS is a mentor/tutor program that only requires 30 minutes of your time each week. You are matched up with an elementary age student who you will meet with the same day and time each week for a semester. The goal is to help them improve their reading skills. Lessons and activities are provided and there's always a HOSTS teacher available to help you. All you have to do is pick a day and time (30 minute block) that you'll be available each week. It's that simple! The possible times are Monday-Thursday from 8:20 am to 2:40 pm.

The Metz program is for bilingual speakers. The Zavala program is for English speakers.

If you're interested (you know you are), then email us and we'll get u set up.

Don't have a ride? NO PROBLEM! There are bus routes from campus to each of these schools.
